I’ve been using the JB250 wire caddy to help me wire my pole barn by myself, using 12-2 and 10-3 romex. It’s very handy – less expensive and more natural (to me) to use than the Greenlee or Carlon designs. I had to widen it to accommodate my 150 ft. roll of 10-3, replacing the bolts with all-thread. Here is a picture of the stand I built for it (which seems very similar to your design!). The side handle really helped make it portable.
